How to protect plants from excessive rainfall

With the onset of monsoon, challenges for gardeners arrive. From waterlogging to soil erosion heavy rain can damage plants, give rise to pest diseases and flooding in soil. Following are the ways to protect your plants from excessive rainfall:

  2. Use organic mulch like dried leaves, straw and wood chips.
  3. Improve drainage to prevent waterlogging
  4. Bushes and shrubs of Cypress and Calotropis Windbreaks.
  5. Keeping a close eye on the field to detect any possible damage and disease.
