Which garden items I should not leave outside during winter?
In winter’s certain garden items should be brought indoors or stored properly to prevent damage caused by cold temperatures, frost, or snow, by protecting them you’ll save cost of replacing the items. Here’s what not to leave outside:

Tender or tropical plants: Move potted plants like succulents, citrus, or ferns indoors. Dig up and store bulbs like dahlias in a cool, dry place.

Terracotta and ceramic pots: These can crack if water inside freezes. Empty and store them in a shed or garage. Move lightweight status or glass items indoor.

Water features and fountains: Drain them to prevent ice damage and freezing. Bring small features indoors if possible.

Metal plate hand tools: Clean, dry, and store tools like pruners, trowels, shovels and iron tools to prevent rust.

Lawn mowers and power tools: Remove batteries and lawn mower, store them in a dry place.

Garden furniture: Wood, metal, or fabric items should be moved indoors or cover them with weather-resistant tarps or cover.

Outdoor lighting: Check out for weatherproof lights, otherwise, store string lights and solar lights indoors.
