How do I tell my snake plant need more water?

Even though Snake plants are drought-tolerant they still need water sparingly. Following are the signs of your snake plant that indicates for more water:

  1. Wrinkled leaves: If the leaves start to wrinkle, curl inward, or feel dry that means your plant need water.

  2. Brown and crispy leaf edges: Your plant likely dehydrated if the edges of the leaves turn brownish and crispy. It’s time to water.

  3. Leaves bend easily: Snake plant leaves are firm and upright but If they feel soft or start drooping, they need water.

  4. Dry soil: If the soil is compact and fully dry, it needs watering.

  5. Slow down of growth: If the plant isn’t growing at all during the growing season it may not be getting enough water. Water deeply but avoid root rot and check it everyday.
